This guide explains how to access to the free trial version of FileMaker 2023. It is intended for general users.
Attention: The Claris free trial expires after 45 days. Users should only sign up for it when they are ready to begin testing aACE.
You can access your aACE Discovery system in two ways. You can access it on the web using a browser. Or you can access it as a rich app on your workstation. Consult with your aACE Advisor about the best method for your Discovery team.
Using the rich app version of aACE 6 will require installing FileMaker 2023. If you already have FileMaker 2023 installed on your workstations, no other activity is needed to prepare for using aACE. If you do not have FileMaker 2023 installed, Claris offers a free, 45-day trial.
First, go to the Claris website* and fill out the short form:
Then download and install the appropriate version of FileMaker 2023:
Once you have FM 2023 installed, you can open the aACE system launcher provided by the aACE representative. You can then explore the system and complete tasks for your Discovery process.
