Overview of aACE Menu Preferences

This guide elaborates on the preferences located on the aACE Menu tab in System Preferences. It is intended for system administrators.

Your aACE Main Menu is highly customizable to fit your business needs and preferences. You can sequence aACE modules as you see fit, name custom modules, and organize them to match their use within your organization.

Note: You must click Edit to configure any of these settings.

1. Sort Column

The Sort column allows you to re-number your aACE modules. Smaller numbers place the module title closer to the top of the list. You can use the number sequence that you prefer. We recommend leaving breaks between numbers though, so you have room to easily add other options later.

For example, in the above screenshot, the ID number is 0 for the entry "aACE Menu". This places it at the very top of the list. The "Internal" module is lower on the list because its ID number is 110.

2. Menu Option Column

A menu option refers to the name of the module on the Main Menu. You can use aACE's default module names or update them to your own business preferences.

3. Action Parameter Column

You can use this column to specify the effect when a team member clicks a menu link, further customizing your Main Menu.
