This guide explains how to access and import ZIP code data. It is intended for system administrators.
When you import ZIP code data into aACE, the data can be used to correctly format addresses, auto-populate tax profiles, connect clients in a given location with their local sales rep, and more.
However, ZIP codes are proprietary data, so a license is required. For ZIP code databases with U.S. demographics, we recommend using a licensed distributor of U.S. postal code data: zip-codes.com. From their homepage, navigate to US Zip Code Database and review your package options. We recommend the Standard package.
After you purchase a package, you are immediately able to download a ZIP code database. Send this file to your aACE representative for integration with your aACE solution.
After the import, you can manage postal code formatting and related tax profiles, sales reps, and territories by navigating from Main Menu > System Admin > Postal Codes:
