This guide provides an overview of the Inventory Usage module. It is intended for advanced users.
aACE tracks inventory usage for inventory adjustments, shipments, and jobs. You can view your aACE system's usage history in the Inventory Usage module. This module is a key component in the cost of goods sold (COGS) reconciliation process.
To access the Inventory Usage module, navigate from Main Menu > Inventory > Inventory Usage.
1. General Info
The General Info section displays a summary of the inventory usage. This summary includes the transaction type and ID, date, office and department, line item code information, and reference records. aACE provides Go-To links (>) for each of these records as applicable (i.e. transaction, office, department, line item code, and order).
2. COGS Allocation
You can review the COGS allocation for your individual inventory usage in this section.
3. Inventory COGS
aACE records the inventory usage's COGS history. You can view the list of COGS entries in the Inventory COGS section.
